About Poker Math Lab
Poker Math Lab explains the mathematics of Texas Hold'em in plain language, with exact numbers computed by code. We are independent: we are not a poker room, we host no games and we take no bets.
What we do
We publish the odds that come up at the table, from outs and pot odds to starting hands and all-in matchups, free tools that do the arithmetic for you, and guides that answer the questions players actually ask. Every figure comes from a program that counts every possible card, and is checked by a second, independent method; see the methodology.
What we never do
- Host real-money games, take bets or link to poker rooms or casinos.
- Sell "systems" or promise that anyone will win: the maths tells you the price of a decision, not the result of a hand.
- Tell anyone that poker is a way to make a living or solve money problems.
